(NBC, 1980) A set of development artwork and a special screening invitation for the popular television miniseries "Shogun". Based on the novel by James Clavell and starring Richard Chamberlain, "Shogun" had the highest weekly Nielsen ratings in NBCs history. This set includes: one large 20"x30" painting featuring printed title artwork and sword imagery that has been painted over with airbrush including the background and mountain areas, one 5.25"x8" special invitation to the screening of Part 1 of the series, and one 14.5"x20" printed design that matches the invitation and is adhered to board with a few hand-painted touch-ups. The set is in overall good condition with some varying amounts of wear throughout, including some tape-residue on the top-edge of the largest artwork, and some minor wear to the other two items from use.
