Found in the Sulu Sea region of Southern Mindanao, the Philippines, this pair of Guangdong "hole-in-the-bottom" ware are 17th C. or earlier (a tradeware-type that lasted a long time). One has the most minor chip and roughness and is more sea-stained, while the other is very nice & perfect. 5-5/8" across, 2-1/2" high. Classic wares for tribal trading.
