1) We have made every effort to describe all cataloged items correctly and each item is guaranteed to be as described in this catalog. All items are sold for final sale as is where is. Because condition is arbitrary it cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us if you need additional information. Measurements of two-dimensional art are of the actual art and do not include matting or frame. Measurements of bronze or other three-dimensional pieces do not include mounting base.
2) All items are to be paid for in US Funds the day of the auction and prior to removal. Unless we have done business before, buyer must establish an account prior to the auction to pay by check. A Letter of Credit, Guarantee Card or Credit Card will be requested to secure all purchases. Credit Cards will be accepted for purchases up to $10,000.00. Absentee bidders will be sent an invoice immediately after the auction, which is due and payable upon receipt.
3) Some pieces in this auction are subject to a reserve price below which the piece will not be sold. However, the reserve will never exceed the low estimated price.
4) We reserve the right to withdraw any property from the sale at any time and shall have no liability whatsoever for such withdrawal.
5) Title passes to the buyer at the fall of the auctioneers hammer or the announcement of sold. The buyer then assumes the responsibility of removal of any items purchased. In the case of absentee, telephone or online purchases, title passes to the buyer upon their possession of the item. If you are acting as an agent for a buyer or bidding for someone else, you are responsible for the payment of that item regardless of your arrangement with the other person.
6) The auctioneer may reject small opening bids or very nominally advanced bids.
7) In a case of a disputed bid the auctioneer is the sole arbitrator as to whom the successful bidder is; and may offer the item for bidding again.
8) All appropriate taxes will be added to the purchase price in accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which the auction takes place.
9) The sale of firearms is subject to all appropriate laws and regulations and cannot be sold on Ebay Live.
10) Estimated prices are given as a convenience only. These are based on approximate sold prices of similar items at past sales or our best estimate of approximate value and are only educated guesses on our part.
11) There are several shipping companies near the auction location. Should you wish to ship your purchases you are responsible to make your own arrangements. The auction company will, as a service to purchasers, help coordinate and arrange to transport your purchases to your shipper of choice. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be advanced by the auction company.
12) Absentee bid forms may be faxed or mailed for bid execution for an established or credit card account. Mail and fax bids must be received no later than two business days prior to the auction.
13) If you would like to bid by telephone, arrangements can be made for us to call you just prior to a lot being sold. Please advise us prior to two business days of the auction if you wish to bid by telephone. Telephone bids will not be accepted for less than 75% of the low estimate.
