Jackson as President and D.E. Morgan as Secretary. Approximately 4 x 9". Vignette of State of California seal at top center. Black Border. U/C. Printed by Pacific Press Print, Oakland. The Sherman was next to the Banner. In 1882 a shaft was sunk to 150 feet, but only low grade ore was found (about 0.1 oz./t) and the hoist and mill were dismantled and sold (ref: Burchard 1883).
