Scottish-born actress (1882–1963) best known for her role as landlady Mrs. Hudson in the Sherlock Holmes movies of the 1930s and 1940s. She also had several bit roles in Universal’s Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, and The Mummy’s Tomb. Vintage fountain pen signature, “Mary Gordon,” on an off-white 4.5 x 3 album page, with a small photo of Gordon affixed to lower left. In fine condition, with light overall shade of toning.
