<B>Shelbyville, IN</B></I> - $50 1882 Date Back Fr. 559 <B>The Farmers NB</B></I> Ch. # (M)4800<BR> There are only around 200 examples of this rare type and denomination extant from all banks in all states combined. Of that number, just eight hail from Indiana, with this example the only one known from Shelbyville. It is not only unique to the bank but is as well the nicest of its type from the Hoosier state, grading a bright <B>Very Fine-Extremely Fine. </B></I>This piece was in our first sale in 1990, and was obtained by Tom three years later when it re-appeared in a Stack's sale. Few of these notes are available in this state of preservation, and it would not surprise us at all to see this example easily reach and perhaps well exceed...<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
