Sheffield & Midland Railway 12" roundhead fusee movement wall clock, the face lettered "S & M Ry No.2 W. McFerran, Victoria St, Manchester". The cabinet bears its "LMS 17374" oval brass plate. A label inside reads "New Mills Central B.O (LNW & GC & Mid) Return Via Guide Bridge". Complete and working. Note The Sheffield & Midland Railway was a joint Committee of the MS & LR and Midland Railway to operate the line from Romiley to Ashburys and others. New Mills Central was on its successor GC & Mid Joint line.
