Sharps type 2A 30 cal. R.F. pepperbox derringer fully and finely period engraved, silver and gold plated w/de-luxe pearl grips #8908 formerly Frank Sellers Collection. The derringer shows period original de-luxe Nimschke or New York style scroll with fancy treatment extending onto the bbl’s. The pistol remains in good plus condition with 50% – 70% original silver on bbl’s, 50%-70% thinning rich gold gilt on frame and good original pearls with slight losses at edges and one deep scratch on right grip. The patent marks on frame are good. There is some deep pitting on the breech of the right rear bbl’s which extends 1 ½” forward. (Probably from being carried.)
