Sharps percussion single shot Pistol Rifle, .38 cal., 28” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stocks, #272. This gun is in overall very good condition showing a heavy dark patina on the barrel with slighthints of original finish, traces of case colors on the receiver with balance gone to a dark patina; strong traces of case colors on the steel butt plate, ample silver finish remaining on patchbox in right side of buttstock; very good to fine bore, crisp action, very good to near fine wood stocks with some scattered mars and scratches from storage but considerable original finish remaining. Sometimes referred to as the “Officer’sModel”, this highly desirable Sharps variation was manufactured in the late 1850’s and limited to an estimated 650 produced. From an old collection. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
