Sharps breech loading single shot pistol, First Type, .32 cal., 5” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, walnut grips, #147. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of original blue in protected areas of barrel and breech mechanism and light traces of case color on the frame and lever; the bore is very good to excellent, the action is crisp, the markings are very good and the grips are very good with lots of original finish and only slight scattered nicks and mars from storage and carry with the number “18” stamped on both sides as well as the number “155” stamped in smaller numbers on both sides. Approx. 850 of this model were manufactured circa 1854-1857 and usually not found in this nice of a condition. From the Richard Wolfe Collection. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.
