Sharps New Model 1865, .50-70 caliber, cartridge carbine. NSNV. As found frontier used condition. The carbine shows a deep brown patina finish with traces of blue mixed in and shows scattered light to moderate erosion and surface pitting. Some heavy pitting on the tangs and lever. The stocks are well worn and oil stained and darkened with many small marks, mars, weathering, exposure to the elements and hard use. The stocks are fair only. The markings on the barrel are good and legible. The original sights and small parts are all retained except saddle ring removed. The marks on action and lock are good and visible. The action is tight, the bore is good with a couple of dark areas. Est: $800 - $1,600

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
