Sharps New Model 1863 percussion rifle, .52 cal., 30” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stocks, #C26923. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 98% original blue on barrel; approx. 98% case color on receiver and side plate with approx. 85% slightly faded case colors on butt plate, patch box, lever, hammer, three barrel bands and front fore stock cap; the bore is fine +, the action crisp, the markings sharp; both sling swivels are retained, wood stocks are overall excellent with only a couple scattered slight mars and dings from storage. A fine Sharps New Model 1863 that has seen little handling. Originally purchase from noted arms dealer Eric Vaule in 1969. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
