Fair. The barrel has an artificial smooth gray patina. The remaining surfaces retain approximately most of the darkened poorly refurbished case colors mixed with a balance between a smooth gray and smooth brown patina. There is some scattered pin point pitting. The sanded and reoiled wood is very good with the exception of a carved "H" on the underside of the forearm, a couple absent chips, a minor crack near the upper tang and some scattered minor dings.
