Sharps New Model 1859 metallic cartridge conversion single shot carbine, .50 cal., 22” round barrel, old re-blued finish, wood stocks without patch box, #59912. This gun is in overall good condition showing majority of an blue finish remaining on metal surfaces including receiver, lock plate, butt plate, lever and frame with some scattered light pitting around the firing area of the receiver; faint traces of case color on breech block; bright bore, crisp action, light but visible markings, wood stocks are good overall with DFC cartouche on center of left side butt stock and sub inspector “F” on left side of barrel; saddle ring and bar remain; Lawrence rear sight.
