Seychelles Giant Double Coconut Polynesian Canoe Bailer w/Helm COA, circa 1900. Made of a giant double coconut shell, also known as a sea coconut or lodoicea, the item measures 12" x 14" x 6.5". Polynesian, possibly Tonga. The sea coconut is native to Praslin and Curieuse Islands off the eastern coast of Africa, and drifted eastward.
