Oversize volume, 12½&#34; x 8&#34; x 2¼&#34; thick; over 800 pages, plus an extensive index. Full calf leather rebound, with gold-stamped title spine. Large pen signature on front end-paper by original owner, &#34;Edward Black&#39;s Book 1774.&#34; Normal age toning; some damp staining on back pages in lower corner margins. Contains a history of George Fox and the beginnings of the Quaker movement.
