An absolutely incredible piece both decorative and useable.

Obtained from a diplomatic family we are pleased to offer a magnificent figural plate on stand. The stand is decorated with bisque puttis.

The piece is painted in other places with a magnificent pale blue with flowers. The pale blue is almost a turqoise so ofen used by Sevres with wonderful flowers painted onto it and also bunches of roses.

The only fault that we can find is a very slight discolouration inder the glaze. This occurs on a few spots on the top. These are really only visible if examining the place closely.

Despite the family's insistence that the piece was handed down through their family and is Sevres, I should indicate that although the quality is unmistakeable, I cannot find the S mark used during this period. It may well be concealed unde the top or under the screw holding the piece together. Another person has suggested that the piece is possibly English made to imitate Sevres. I cannot really advisec who is correct. All I know is that the item is gorgeous and could grace any table or sideboard.
