Terrific piece. Wonderful proportions.

This is a gorgeous pattern vase made in the first half of the 19th century.

To the front of the vase is a magnificent painting of three children playing instruments.

There are also applied heads in a pale bluish green to the lower section of the vase. There are three of these.

The vase is of relatively large proportions standing 9 inches high. Across the top it is 8 inches.

The shape is of the campagna vase type.

There are no cracks or breaks. The gilt on the urn though has been well worn and if one were to know a competent person who could regild the piece it would be well worthwhile.
