Seven Vintage Buses Die Cast Bank Greyhound Universal
The revolution of the bus service over the years has made transportation for the entire world more feasible and convenient. Offered here are six Greyhound buses and one Universal bus ("piggy bank"). Five are die cast and two are "piggy banks". The two piggy banks do not have the bottom stopper. Four of the die cast buses have the name Buddy L on the back. We believe that these buses were made available through Greyhound for their passengers. There conditions range from fair to very good with surface wear. There sizes range from 6 3/4" to 10". * * Greyhound Lines, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas, is an intercity common carrier of passengers by bus serving over 3,700 destinations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, operating under the well-known logo of a leaping greyhound. It was founded in Hibbing, Minnesota, USA, in 1914 and incorporated as "Greyhound Corporation" in 1929. Today, it is headquartered at 350 North St. Paul Street in Downtown Dallas, Texas,[1] and under the ownership of British transport firm FirstGroup, which operates Greyhound as an independent subsidiary, and a division of FirstGroup America.
