With seven of eight mounted albumen prints, with plate V. “Departure of the Mayflower” lacking here. Plates are interleaved with text leaves bearing Longfellow's verse. Publisher's original full dark morocco binding, decoratively stamped in blind and lettered in gilt. Handsomely rebacked with the original spine preserved.
