Although she started a family in 2017, Serena Williams remains one of the world's greatest athletes, an icon still at the top of her game. While she has faced obstacles along her rise to greatness that most other tennis players haven't had to, she remains a champion of grace and strength. A collage look at her career offers images of greatness at every WTA stop, including championships at every Grand Slam event. Heading into the 2018 season, she had seven Australian Open singles titles, seven Wimbledon singles titles, six U.S. Open singles titles and three French Open singles titles. She had six runner-up Grand Slam singles finishes as well. An exclusive athlete with Upper Deck Authenticated, Williams is the latest to be honored with a unique autographed UDA "Tegata" memorabilia piece. A "Tegata" is a traditional form of Japanese memorabilia that is reserved only for the most superior athletes. Utilizing handmade Japanese Hamada paper, Williams has inked her right hand in black and included an authentic Inkan stamp which aligns with the traditional craft. The overall keepsake, which measures 36" wide by 36" high, includes a 12" by 12" inset center upon which Williams' hand has been inked and is surrounded by a double-matted collage style background of her amazing career. Williams performed the "Tegata" process under the supervision of UDA officials and helped in the hand-crafting of the uniquely authentic stamps for the debut release. Williams has autographed this limited edition (25) Tegata in silver paint pen. Her signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process. You will receive a random number from the edition.
