Nineteenth century songwriter (1827–1902). He used his own name, and also the pseudonyms Alice Hawthorne, Percy Guyer, Mark Mason, Apsley Street, and Paul Stenton. AMQS on an off-white 5.5 x 3.25 with an ANS at the conclusion, April 18, 1901. Winner pens five bars of music and lyrics from his famous song ‘Listen to the Mockingbird.’ In the note, he writes: “Herewith allow me to present my slight efforts to your desires, thanking you for your kind appreciation of my work.” In fine condition.
