(Borghesi, Pietro, and Cardinal Francesco Xavier de Zelada). NUMI ALIQUOT AEREI UNCIALES CL. CARD. ZELADÆ IN MUSEUM KIRCHERIANUM COLL. ROM. S. L. ILLATI. (Romæ: Ex Typographia Generosi Salomonii, 1778). 4to [30.5 by 23 cm], contemporary brown half morocco with marbled boards; spine ruled and lettered in gilt; marbled endpapers; original printed wraps bound in. Title taken from wraps. 4 pages; 40 well-engraved plates of aes grave (numbered I + IIII + XII + V + I + V + VI + III + III). Text and plates rather spotted; very good or better. A bit of a mystery. The plates are identical to those included in the above lot, which is the version described by Dekesel and other bibliographers. The four pages of text in this printing are a key to the plates, and give brief descriptions, including legends, and information on sizes and weights. They are not part of the prior lot, which matches other copies we have handled. Compare Dekesel B470 and Lipsius 52. Ex RBW Library.
