Sensation Comics #1 (DC, 1942) CGC VG 4.0 Off-white pages. This excellent original-owner copy is considered by Overstreet to be one of the 30 most valuable comic books. It features the second appearance of Wonder Woman, her debut coming in All Star Comics #8 only a month earlier. This is generally thought of as Part Two of her origin. The story that became the first episode of the 1970s TV show has her leaving Paradise Island and heading to the U.S. where she adopts her "Diana Prince" identity. Making their debuts in this issue were Wildcat, Mr. Terrific, and the Black Pirate by Sheldon Moldoff. Jon Blummer is credited with the issue's cover (despite what the CGC holder says), and the Wonder Woman story is drawn by H. G. Peter. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $5,320. CGC census 9/06: 2 in 4.0, 18 higher. From the Madison Monk Collection.

Shipping: Slabbed Comic (view shipping information)
