This is a carved wood Ball Head War Club from circa late 18th Century to early 19th Century. The piece is believed to be a Seneca Native American Indian Ball Head War club by the collector. The piece shows a rich patina wood piece with a heavy weight. The war club has a round ball head with curved haft and is in the design typical of early Seneca pieces. Provenance: The piece is from a large Native American Indian artifact private collection in Saskatchewan, Canada and was purchased in Canada from a long time Seneca Indian family. Appears to be in well preserved good condition. Measures overall 17.5"L with a 2 7/8" diameter ball head. Please review pictures for origin, age, and condition.
