Lot of 3: 1) 10" x 4" wide. No top or siphon tube. Front etched “C.W. Rehnert Stockton, Calif. Registered.” No maker’s mark. Clear glass, several small bubbles, some staining. The bottle was manufactured by an Automated Bottling Machine, and so certainly post-dates 1910. 2) 11.5" tall, with top, by 4"wide. Siphon tube intact. Front etched “C.W. Rehnert Stockton, Calif. Registered.” No maker’s mark on bottom. Clear glass, some wear, several small bubbles throughout, and some interior staining. Like the first bottle in this lot, this seltzer post-dates 1910. According to Ancestry.com, a Cecil W. Rehnert was Manager of Nehi Bottling Company during the 1940s. 3) 11.5" tall, with unmarked metal top, by 4" wide. Siphon tube intact. Front etched “Stockton Soda Works” above a small etched design with “Stockton, Cal. H.E. Molen.” and “Net Contents 2 Fluid Ounces” etched below the design. No maker’s mark. Clear glass, heavy interior staining. According to Ancestry.com, H.E. Molen may be Henry E. Molen, who was born c. 1867 and with Ella M. Molen had one son in 1895: Henry A. Molen. It is likely that C.W. Rehnert and H.E. Molen were competitors in the seltzer business. This bottle trio, from the Humboldt Soda Works Discovery, is stored in a 10" x 16" x 12" wooden crate: green paint, slots for six bottles. -59422
