Stock certificate for 100 shares in the Security Aircraft Corporation, one page, 11.25 x 8, May 24, 1937. The certificate features a vignette of an allegorical woman with seaplane flying past and facsimile signatures of company president Bert Kinner and secretary Hugh Green. In fine condition.

Kinner, a pioneering aircraft engine designer and constructor, founded the Kinner Airplane & Motor Corporation in Glendale, California, and established Kinner Field, the first municipally owned airport in Los Angeles. Amelia Earhart took her first flying lessons at Kinner Field in 1921, and there purchased her first plane, a Kinner Airster biplane she nicknamed 'The Canary.'
