Four different Denver mining stocks issued between 1902 and 1918. 1) The Jefferson-Calhoun Mining Company, issued in 1906. Cert. #1163. Large vignette of miners working underground. U/C. Tears and folds at right edge. Operated in Leavenworth Gulch, Russell district, Gilpin Co. 2) The Amity Gold Mining Company, issued in 1908. Cert. #90. Mill site vignette. Stamp cancels. Part of stub attached at left. 3) The Central Cons. Tunnel, Mining and Milling Co., issued in 1918. Cert. #177. Mill site vignette . U/C. 4) The Colorado Fuel and Iron Company, issued in 1902. Miners underground. Stamp and hole cancels. The company's main plant was a steel mill at Pueblo, Colorado. Also held coal mines in southern Colorado and iron mines in Wyoming.
