American actor and photojournalist (born 1941), son of Errol Flynn, who disappeared in Cambodia in 1970 during an assignment covering the Vietnam War. It is believed that Flynn was killed by the Khmer Rouge in 1971, and he was declared legally dead in 1984. Rare 4.25 x 6 promotional postcard photo, signed in black fountain pen, “Sean Flynn”. In very good condition, with soiling from tape residue on the reverse touching the bottom of his first name. Accompanied by a 7.25 x 9 matte-finish photo of Errol Flynn, signed in black fountain pen, “My best regards, Errol Flynn” (very poor contrast); and an ALS from Errol Flynn’s mother, one page, 5.25 x 6.75, on the death of her son. Items signed by the younger Flynn are rare.
