<B>Scribbly #7 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (DC, 1949) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> The comics in this series have a reputation for being hard to find, and we've seen nothing that contradicts that -- we hadn't seen this issue before, nor has CGC certified another copy as of this writing. The character pre-dates the Golden Age, having first appeared in 1936 -- Scribbly's a comic artist very similar to his creator Sheldon Mayer. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $345; NM- 9.2 value = $460.
