ScreenUsed Fall 2015 Auction

Auction Details

Dear Collectors,
Welcome to our Fall 2015 auction to be held on Friday and Saturday, November 20th and 21st, at 10am Pacific Time.

For those familiar with our auctions, you may notice for the first time the auction will run for two days instead of one. In reality, we just recently held the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Auction and it was two days as well, but a week apart. As we gain more consignors, the quantity of lots for each auction is getting higher. Our goal has been to keep the live online auction to one day - it's just no fun attending an auction that goes on for many days. So we came up with a plan:

- The auction will be two days - Friday November 20th and Saturday November 21st.

- We will split the auction items over those two days, and run the first day completely automated.

- The second day will run like we usually do with a manually run auction going from lot to lot closing each one as bids are done.

- As always, all items for both days have about 3 weeks of bidding online, up until the two closing days on Friday, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st.

- We have created a PDF catalog for the second day only, however all items and several pictures for each item can be viewed on our ScreenUsed website or the iCollector website.

Day 1, Friday Nov 20th
Completion of each lot will start at 10am Pacific time, and each lot will automatically end 1 minute apart. The auction will not allow sniping at the last second, so everyone has a fair chance to bid what they feel comfortable with. If an item receives a bid within the last 3 minutes, the end time will automatically be extended another 3 minutes. Each item displays the exact time it is scheduled to end, with each lot initially ending 1 minute apart.

Day 2, Saturday Nov 21st
Completion of each lot will start at 10am Pacific time, and we will run the process manually. As each lot has its last call and once there are no more bidders, we will drop the hammer and close the lot, moving to the next lot. We will continue this way until all lots are closed.

As usual, we have quite a variety of productions for this auction, with 600 items.

Our mission:

Our main sales outlet is our website where we post new items on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. However, we also hold three auctions each year in March, July, and November. Our overall goal is to try and fill the gap between wholesale type auctions and high-end million dollar auctions.

For our auctions, we aim to keep the live online auction to about 4 hours. If there are more lots than can be handled in that time, we will split the auction and run the first day automated and online. As well, to keep up with any changes to the lots in the auction, including description updates, we keep a detailed online log of every single change to the lots in the auction. Invoices are sent to customers within 24 hours, and our personal packing and shipping begins the next business day, so be assured you will receive your new item(s) immediately.

Take your time and go through the catalog. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Email is always the best way to catch us, but if you prefer, we can get on the phone to chat as well. We look forward to another fun auction and wish you the best of luck in obtaining the next cool piece for your collection!
