Scottish dagger with unusual engraved metal scabbard, matching small knife and fork, silver plated over brass with hand engraving on scabbard, pommel and mounts. The dagger measures 18-1/2" overall, 13-1/2" bladeshowing etching with crown, florals and thistle. Blade is very good+ with most of its original polish, just slight aging. The brass scabbard is very heavily plated and shows engraving of thistles, florals andgeometrics. The pommel cap is nicely engraved with stand of arms. The knife and fork set are studded and carved to match the large dagger handle. A leather belt attachment is included; the back of thescabbard is beautifully engraved with makers logo that reads "Hunter Army Contractor South Bridge Edinburgh". Est.: $2,000-$4,000

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
