Scottish Highland dagger in classic style with ornate silver mountings hallmarked to the year 1886 and showing Stag with Crown surmounted by the word “Bydand” on the banner which is the symbol of the Gordon Highlanders. The hilt is very nicely carved and studded with silver pins and the knife and fork set are matching and also are set with jewels. The blade is plain other than makers name Hamilton and Inches. The dagger remains in near fine condition with some slight leather aging on the scabbard and all of the original bright polish on the blade. A superior quality dagger in every way from a major north- west coast collector. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
