Scarce first model Porter Patent revolving rifle, .44 caliber, 26” octagon barrel, serial #194, with rarely encountered extra serial numbered matching magazine and matching serial numbered original brassmould. The gun remains in very good plus original condition show its retaining its magazine cover, original rammer on top of barrel, and original sights. The rifle shows considerable original blue within a browningpatina. The stock is also very good plus with a nice burl grain, some minor dings, mars, scratches, normal aging. Refer Flayderman 15-015. Note: Possibly the only specimen extant with extra matching cylinder andmould. Est: $7,000 - $14,000
