Scarce and desirable prewar single-barrel trap shotgun by W & C Scott of London, England, imported by H&D Fulsom Arms Company, New York. 12ga, 34” barrel, showing a very unusual action with one removable sideplate on right. The barrel shows a ventilated rib with W&C Scott address on right side, Fulsom address on left side. Approx. 90-95% original blue on barrel, with some erosion on a few areas of the rib, some surface rust that may clean, some slight losses and drifting to patina. The frame shows light scroll engraving and approx. 30-50% drifting case hardening. The gun is numbered “101016”. The action tight, interior near excellent. The stocks have been lightly refreshed and satin finished, the checkering retraced. The stock measures approx. 14” to the end of the wood, approx. 15” to the end of the rubber recoil pad.
