Scarce and desirable Winchester pre-64 model 70 carbine in .250-3000 caliber, factory 20” barrel, standard configuration with factory sling swivels, showing period Stith mount with model 330 Weaver scope. Original frontsight cover retained. Serial #9663. The rifle shows 80-90% thinning original blue with some scratches, minor erosion, and normal aging. The stocks are good to very good with many small scratches, minor abrasions, andnormal loss of finish from carry, but are at least good to very good overall. The action is good, the bore near excellent. A scarce and desirable combination of caliber and carbine length with classic period scope andmount. Est: $1,750 - $3,500
