Scarce Winchester Model 36 Bolt Action Shotgun
Introduced in 1920 and discontinued in 1927 after only approximately 20,000 sold. Standard markings with single bead sight, smooth straight grip gumwood stock with metal pistol grip trigger guard and checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Referred to by Winchester as the "Garden Gun" for its use against pests around the house and barn.

Condition: Very fine. The shotgun retains 70% original blue finish on the barrel with areas thinning to a smooth brown. The trigger guard has a brown patina with minor spotting. The stock is very good with a few minor scratches and dings in the toe area and overall there are a few minor dings. The action needs work, the bolt is cocked and will not fire. The markings are sharp.
