Scarce Winchester Model 21 Skeet Double Barrel Shotgun, in 16 Gauge
Produced from 1931 to 1959, the Model 21 represents the top of the line in Winchester's domestic double barrel production. Orange front and nickel mid bead sights, with the standard Winchester markings on the side of the left barrel, 2 3/4" chambers, dual ejectors and chokes measuring open and cylinder. Patent and model markings are present on the water table, with the underside of the frame marked "SKEET", single trigger with onboard selector button, and a tang mounted safety switch with gold filled "SAFE" marking. Checkered pistol grip stock, with a wide beavertail forearm and a solid Winchester recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 inches.

Condition: Very fine as partially refurbished (trigger guard), with 95% of the original blue finish, showing a tiny amount of pitting at the muzzles, some bright edge wear, a gray patina on the chambers and trigger guard and minimal handling marks overall. A small amount of varnish is present on the rear of the frame. Stock is very fine as shortened, with a few areas of varnish loss, light pressure dents and excellent checkering and grain. Mechanically excellent.
