The front sight is a fixed blade and the rear is an adjustable "ski slope" type graduated to 600 yards and marked "H.C." on the left side. One piece straight grip stock with a saddle ring base mounted on the left side, (ring and stud absent), boxed "SWP / 1880" cartouche on the left wrist, a nickel plated brass forend with one piece of the cleaning rod stored inside, and steel carbine style buttplate.
