One of the Model 1931 Sniper variants, this rifle was manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern with a Model 31 action and stock. The barrel is 25.7 inches in length with a 6 round magazine and walnut stock with full length handguard, finger grooves, pistol grip and steel buttplate. This variant is fitted with a 2.8 power integral telescope attached to the left side of the receiver. It has an unique periscope type rotating objective. It is also fitted with open sights, the rear adjustable to 1,500 meters and a 700 meter sight mounted on top of the integral scope. All metal parts are blue except for the polished bolt. There is a bayonet lug on the front barrel band, sling swivel on the rear barrel band and a sling slot cut in the butt stock with a small Swiss cross stamped on the right side. The top of the receiver is marked with the Swiss cross, the partial serial number "754" and Swiss proofs are marked on the barrel breech and the complete serial number "451754" is marked on the receiver, magazine bottom and bolt. Import marked. Complete with an original leather sling.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and a few minor dings and edge wear on the scope. The stock is very fine with overall scattered minor pressure dents and dings. The scope optics are a bit hazy but otherwise fine. The markings are clear. The sling is good. The action is excellent.
