Manufactured in 1927. Dovetail front sight, adjustable buckhorn rear sight, and Marble's tang peep sight. Two line address/patent dates marking ahead of rear sight, Remington trademark over "MODEL 8" on the left side of receiver, and Remington-UMC in a circle trademark on the lower tang. Deluxe checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock, both appear to be English Walnut and both are fitted with sling swivel. The buttstock has a hard rubber factory grip cap, and serrated crescent steel buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some scattered moderate to deep pitting and spotting on the left rear side of the barrel below the rear sight with some to the top of the receiver blue thinning/browning out. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches. Overall the checkering is crisp. A rare deluxe Remington Model 8 rifle.
