Manufactured in 1935 this is a scarce Remington Model 141 transition slide action rifle in .25 Remington. Production of the Transition Model 141 rifle started in mid-1935 and ended in early 1936. These rifle are marked Model 141, but without the Gamemaster stamp and have low serial numbers. This rifle has standard Transition markings with the caliber indictor head stamp on the left side of the receiver. Blade front sight marked with the number "5" and adjustable sporting rear sight. Grooved forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered steel shotgun style Remington buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain 95% original blue finish with some minor muzzle and slide wear. The receiver and trigger guard retain traces of original blue finish, otherwise a smooth dark plum patina. The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches (more numerous on the forearm) with most of the finish remaining.
