Scarce Remington-Beals 3rd Model Pocket Percussion Revolver

Manufactured from 1859 to 1860 with an estimated 1,000 manufactured. The top barrel flat has the standard two line Beals patent dates (56, 57, 58)/Remington address marking. The serial number (331) is stamped on the frame, barrel and both grips with the addition of "234" stamped on the barrel. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips.

Condition: Good. The revolver has a mottled gray patina with barely visible traces of original blue remaining. There is some minor pitting. The grips are very good with a few small missing chips and overall crisp checkering. The action is locked up.
