Scarce R.F. Sedgely Model 1903 Springfield Bolt Action Rifle
Produced by Sedgely in the 1920s and 1930s, chiefly for Bannerman, by refitting government surplus 1903 receivers. Hooded blade front and folding ladder rear sight, with "C64157-4" on the sight hood, unmarked barrel and standard receiver ring marks. Smooth straight grip stock with dual recoil bolts, "P" behind the trigger guard, sling swivels and a flat buttplate.

Condition: Very good as refinished, with 85% of the black finish, showing scattered spotting, areas of brown patina and mild handling marks. Stock is very good, with pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically very good.
