This is a very fine example of a very desirable pre-war Winchester Model 21 "Tournament-Skeet" grade double barrel shotgun. These tournament-skeet grade shotguns were only offered for only a very short time frame, from 1933-1936 making this a very low production item. This particular shotgun was produced in 1935. The special order features include a beavertail forearm and single selective trigger and it features a single steel bead sight on a concave matte rib barrel with 2 3/4" chambers with the barrels choked WS1 and WS2. The left barrel is marked "WINCHESTER - 12 GAUGE" over the chamber area. The right side of the water table is marked with the Winchester "WP" proof with the three-line Winchester factory markings of "MADE IN U.S.A. MODEL 21 / WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / NEW HAVEN, CONN.". The left side of the water table is marked with the three-line Winchester patent numbers. As noted the barrel flats are marked with the Winchester "WP" proofmark, marked "WS1 and WS2". This SKEET grade shotgun features a Single selective trigger with push button selector, and tang mounted automatic safety, with "SAFE" marking highlighted in gold. This shotgun features a checkered beavertail forend, with a checkered pistol grip stock with checkered butt, both made of deluxe walnut, LOP 14". The matching serial number of "3064" can be found on the underside of the barrels, inside the forend, on top of the water table and underneath the barrel opening lever.

The forend and buttstock have a nice select figure grain with very fine moderately worn checkering overall showing only some slight areas of light wear and handling marks across the tops of the diamonds with a very light crack just starting to show up on the right side, through the center of the pistol grip area, with some minor scratches, and light finish loss on the right side of the buttstock and lower toe area from actual shooting and use. This is very desirable Winchester Model 21 "Tournament-Skeet" grade double barrel shotgun.
