Scarce Pre-War FN High Power Pistol with Matching Number Flat Board Shoulder Stock and Military Leather Holster

This is a Belgian High Power pistol with the early style flat board shoulder stock and leather stock/pistol holster. The left side of the slide has the standard three line pre-war "FABRIQUE NATIONALE" markings over the various FN factory proofmarks. This model has the tangent rear sight that is graduated from 50-500 meters, with the fixed inverted "V" front sight, that is slotted on the rear grip strap for the walnut shoulder stock. The right side of the barrel, slide and frame have the stacked serial numbers "34707" with the correct FN factory proofmarks on the right side of the chamber. This pistol has the original pre-war flat style walnut board stock that is numbered "34707" on right side with the sling loop on the left side. The stock is drilled with three holes on the side where the original factory leather holster would have originally been attached, while this pistol has the later large combination commercial leather holster that houses both the pistol and the flat board shoulder stock. The holster has a single circled "AC. 39" proof on the front flap. The back of the holster has the large double "D" brass ring, for the shoulder strap (absent). The lot includes one original unnumbered pre-war High Power magazine.

Manufucture: Fabrique Nationale
Model: 1935
BBL: 4 3/4 inch round
Stock: walnut
Guage: 9 mm Luger
Finish: blue
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 34707

Very fine with 90% of the slightly faded blue finish with wear on the edges and high spots overall with thinning/brown spotting on the front grip strap. The walnut grips are very good with nice distinct checkering but showing handling marks around the edges. The stock is also very fine with a nice medium brown color overall with handling marks and light pressure dents on both sides. The leather holster is fine with a dark brown color overall with tight stitching and clear markings with the toe of the holster slightly mashed down. A nice complete early FN High Power rig.
