A) Very good, with original brown visible on the underside of the barrel, a mixed gray patina on the upper sections, mild spotting and edge wear. Case colors have faded, with traces in the protected areas and pitting around the nipple. Stock is good, with a few minor chips and cracks, sharp checkering and the start of an aged patina on the silver. Mechanically very fine.

B) Very good, with strong original bronzed pattern on the underside of the barrel, bright gray on top and scattered spotting. Traces of original color remain on the casehardened parts, with pitting around the replacement nipple and a gray patina on the remainder. Silver is bright overall with a darker patina forming in the lower areas. Stock is good as period revarnished, with a few tiny chips and pressure dents. Mechanically very good.
