Scarce Nickel-Plated Walther Mod. PP Semi-Automatic Pistol
Pre-war Walther Mod. PP pistol with scarce nickel-plated finish and white, checkered, plastic grips. The pistol has a cartridge indicator pin, 60-degree safety lever and magazine release button on the side of the frame. The magazine has a nickel-plated finish. The white plastic, two piece, grips have the Walther Banner at the top. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther Banner followed by the two-line factory legend and "Mod. PP". The right side of the frame has the serial number, "138780 P" stamped vertically behind the trigger. "Crown/N" Nitro Proofs are stamped on the right side of the slide below the ejection port and on the right side of the barrel chamber and muzzle. The lower left side of the magazine is stamped with the Walther Banner above "PP 7.65 m/m" in two lines.

Condition: Very good. The pistol retains 85 of the nickel-plated finish. The slide has scattered minor handling marks with some very minor pitting and dulling. There is some minor finish loss near the muzzle. The grips are in very good condition; wear is limited to several hair-line cracks behind the grip screws and at the butt. The magazine retains approximately 80% of the original nickel-plated finish. The bore is bright. This is a very good example of a scarce nickel-plated Walther Mod. PP pistol with plastic factory grips.
