Scarce Merwin Hulbert & Company Folding Hammer Two Barrel Set Double Action Revolver with Original M
Manufactured in the early 1880s. Fitted with a 5 1/2" barrel with an extra 3 1/2" barrel included. Each barrel has a pinned half moon front sight with the two line address/patent dates marking on the rib. The left side of the frame is marked "32 CAL. 7 SHOT" and the folding hammer spur is marked "JAN. 27, 85". Checkered hard rubber grips with checkerboard patterns at the top and a lanyard ring on the butt. Matching number on the frame, both barrels, and cylinder. Complete with the rare factory box with the end label marked by factory, "with extra 3 inch barrel".

Condition: Excellent. The frame and cylinder retains 90% plus original nickel finish with some minor flaking and spotting, with some scattered minor pitting on the cylinder. Both barrels retain 95% plus original nickel finish with some scattered minor flaking and spotting. The short barrel has some minor pitting at the muzzle and breech. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The box is fine with some edge separation and some minor wear. The serial number of the revolver is factory hand written in purple ink on the interior directions label.
