Very fine. The metal surfaces have a smooth brown patina with traces of original blue finish in the protected areas of the cylinder. The grip frame and trigger guard retain 70% original age darkened silver plating with finish loss concentrated on the toe of the back strap and edges of the trigger guard. The grips are a bit ill-fitting, however remain very good with 98% original varnish remaining and showing some minor dents and handling marks. The engraving and markings are clear.
